Accepting Jesus as Your Saviour
We believe in Jesus and His overwhelming gift of salvation.
- Admit Your Sin: You must understand that you are a sinner. The Bible says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
- Abandon Self-Effort: Understand that you cannot save yourself by your efforts. The Bible says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourself: it is the gift of God: lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
- Acknowledge God's Gift: You must believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for your sins (John 3:16).
- Accept Jesus as Your Saviour: You must put your faith in Jesus and Him alone for your salvation. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).
A Prayer for Salvation
Say this simple prayer with meaning, and you will be saved:
"Lord Jesus, I come to You as a sinner. I repent of all my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe with all my heart that You died on the cross and rose again for my sins. I open my heart to You and receive You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Amen."
